Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You report several destination figures accurately, including full-time work at 52%, part-time work at 15%, unemployment at 12%, and the two 8% categories. However, the overview is incomplete and includes an unsupported claim that part-time work and unemployment “remained same”; the chart shows one-time proportions, not a change over time. The salary discussion is especially limited: you mention only the government sector’s 50% in the top band and private companies’ 30%, omitting the other salary bands and freelance consultants. The claim that government employees earned higher salaries is too broad without comparing the distributions. The response is also 11 words below the required minimum. Develop the overview and report key contrasts across all three employment types.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic, useful structure: an introduction, an overview, a paragraph on graduate destinations, and a final paragraph on salaries. This makes the two chart components identifiable. However, progression is uneven because the salary paragraph ends abruptly after one partial comparison, leaving the table largely unexplained. Linking phrases such as “This is followed by” and “In terms of salaries” help guide the reader, but “While” begins a fragment in the overview and again before the 8% categories. The repeated “accounted for” pattern also makes the report feel list-like. Complete the final paragraph and group salary figures by meaningful comparisons so the information flows rather than stopping mid-report.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant chart vocabulary, including “dominant,” “proportion,” “sector,” and “salary,” and the main categories are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice or spelling problems reduce precision: “contribution” is not a natural way to describe a chart share, “most dominant” is redundant, and “got” is informal for reporting salaries. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “contirbute,” “contibution,” “dominant” misspelled as “dominant” in one instance, and “salies.” Use precise terms consistently, such as “accounted for,” “represented,” and “earned,” and check spelling carefully. Avoid repeating the same reporting phrase when describing several figures.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex sentence forms, for example, “While the government sector employees got higher salaries than the other sector,” but this is not a complete sentence because it begins with a subordinating conjunction and has no main clause. The overview also contains agreement and verb-form problems in “Full time work contirbute the major share” and “The part time work and unemployed contibution remained same.” In the final paragraph, “The private companies employees was accounted for” has faulty agreement and sentence construction. Most sentences follow simple patterns, and these errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise complete comparisons and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries; for example, join a “while” clause to a complete main clause.
