Student answer (Band 5.0)
The provided chart shows what Antrhropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduates degree course and it also defines their salaries of after five years work.
As per chart the majority of graduates work full-time whose are 52%, afer this the second large figure of graduates like to do work part time which ratio is 15% and then jump on figure of unemployed which is higher after these, the figure of this is around 12%. The chart shows two factors with same figure of 8% which are full-time postgrad study and not known and next last one figure is very low figure which is 5% of part-time work during their postgarduate study.
The comparison which i want to describe is in between full-time work and part-time work its because as per chart figures of those are very high in comparing others, so the point to be noted that graduates student takes more interest in full-time job after their completion of course and on the other hand the postgraduate student prefer part-time job. The thing which to be noted that there are also some unempoyed as usuall like others courses and the figure of them is also very high which is 12%.
The graph shows salaries of Antrhropology graduates which they earn after 5 years of work in various sectors or in different types. The salary they get its metter on their job type which are these like freelance consultants , government sector and private companies. The freelance type consultants can get maximum $100,000 plus which are 40% and the minimum salary they can get is arise from $ 25,000-49,999. But the government sectors can earn more than anyone 50% of there empolyes get $100,000 plus and minimum salary ratio is same as freelance consultants. The last one private companies just give 30% employes salary $100,000 but they offered 10% of employes $25000-49,999.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You report several key figures accurately, including full-time work at 52%, unemployment at 12%, and the 8% shares for full-time postgraduate study and unknown destinations. You also compare salary bands across the three employment types and correctly identify government work as having the largest $100,000+ share. However, the response only partly fulfils the task because it lacks a clear, concise overview of the main patterns, and some comparisons are incomplete or imprecise. For example, saying freelance consultants can earn “maximum $100,000 plus” does not clearly report that 40% are in this band, while the table also shows 40% in the $75,000–99,999 band. The claim that graduates “takes more interest” in full-time work is speculative; report the data neutrally instead.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: it introduces both visuals, discusses graduate destinations, and then moves to salaries. This gives the reader some sense of the information’s order. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, such as “as per chart,” “the point to be noted,” and “the thing which to be noted.” The destination paragraph also moves from ranking figures to an unsupported comparison of student preferences, rather than grouping the main categories clearly. Organise the response into an introduction, a brief overview, and focused detail paragraphs. Use clear comparisons and references, for example, grouping the two highest salary bands or contrasting government and private-sector distributions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “full-time work,” “unemployed,” “freelance consultants,” and “government sector,” so the subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “second large figure,” “jump on figure,” “salary ratio,” and “the salary they get its metter on their job type.” There are also repeated spelling errors, such as “Antrhropology,” “empolyes,” and “unempoyed.” Aim for precise reporting language such as “accounted for,” “share,” “salary band,” and “was highest,” and check spelling carefully. Avoid informal or speculative phrasing when describing chart data.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use basic comparison structures, but control is inconsistent. Many sentences contain errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, or sentence construction, as in “the majority of graduates work full-time whose are 52%” and “the government sectors can earn more than anyone.” The sentence beginning “The comparison which i want to describe” is also difficult to follow because its clauses are not connected accurately. Simple sentences are often clearer, but punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, and several sentences run on. Practise accurate patterns such as “Full-time work accounted for 52%” and “In the government sector, 50% earned over $100,000.” Build complexity gradually, checking each clause for a clear subject and verb.
