Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You cover both the graduate destinations and the salary table, and several figures in the first section are accurate, including full-time work at 52%, part-time work at 15%, and unemployment at 12%. However, the response only partially fulfils the task because it lacks a clear overview of the main patterns and contains important misreadings. The two 8% categories are full-time postgraduate study and “not known,” not both “learners”; more seriously, the salary descriptions confuse salary bands with percentages. For example, government salaries do not simply “increase” above $100,000, and private-company salaries do not “stuck to 30000.” Summarise the highest and lowest salary bands for each sector accurately, and state the key comparisons in an overview.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a generally understandable order: it first describes the pie chart and then moves to the table, with separate paragraphs for the two visuals. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” help signal the progression. However, these links are used mechanically, and the salary paragraph becomes difficult to follow because several comparisons are unclear or incomplete. Phrases such as “it remains same as 40 percent from 75000 to 100000+” do not clearly distinguish the two salary bands, while “same ratio of sallery from 25000 to 74000” leaves the comparison uncertain. Organise the table information by sector or by salary range, and use clear references such as “the $75,000–$99,999 band” to make each comparison explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “percentage,” “proportion,” “unemployed,” and “part-time work,” so the topic is generally recognisable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make details harder to understand. “Graduates ratio” and “educators” are not suitable descriptions of the chart categories, while “give salary to graduates” is less precise than language describing the distribution of employees across salary bands. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “sallery” and “Antrhropology.” Use the chart’s category labels consistently and practise accurate terms such as “share,” “salary band,” and “earned.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can usually identify the broad topic of each sentence. However, the range of structures is limited, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction frequently affect clarity. For example, “Full-time work graduates ratio exceeds” has an unclear noun structure, while “they both contains” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. In “who are studied in one university,” the passive form is not appropriate, and “it became about 50 percent” does not clearly identify what “it” refers to. Build more accurate comparisons using patterns such as “The proportion in this category was…” and check that each pronoun has a clear noun reference.
