Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify the two visuals and report several relevant figures, including full-time work at 52%, unemployment at 12%, and the 5% share combining part-time work with postgraduate study. However, the overview is unclear and the salary comparisons contain important inaccuracies: for example, government employees earning $75,000–$99,999 are reported as 30%, but the response then says “while people who earning $100.000+ 50%” without clearly identifying the category. The final comparison also misstates the private-company and freelance figures and omits key salary bands. The response is only 116 words, below the required 150, so the information is not developed sufficiently. Select the main patterns and compare the salary distributions accurately across all three employment types.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the chart and table, followed by destination information and then salary data. This gives the reader some sense of the task’s two parts. However, the progression is difficult to follow because ideas are compressed together, punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, and the salary paragraph shifts between categories without clear links. For instance, “meanwhile private companies and freelancer are 5% to 10% during…” does not make clear which figures belong to which salary bands. Use separate, clearly developed paragraphs for the graduate destinations and salary comparisons, and connect each comparison explicitly so the reader can follow the data.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The response uses some relevant task vocabulary, such as “full-time work,” “post grads study,” “Government sectors,” and “salaries.” This shows a basic ability to describe the chart. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or collocations make the meaning unclear: “graduates get from university,” “are hike with 5%,” and “people who earning” do not express the intended comparisons naturally. There are also spelling errors, including “illsustrate,” and inconsistent forms such as “freelancer” for a category of workers. Build a small set of accurate reporting phrases, such as “accounted for,” “earned,” and “the proportion in the highest salary band,” and check spelling and word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt a few longer structures, including “while” and “although,” but the sentence patterns are often incomplete or faulty, and most statements rely on simple constructions. Errors in agreement and verb forms appear in phrases such as “The chart clearly compare” and “people who earning.” Sentence boundaries are also unclear in “Overall students after getting degree in anthropologists from a university.Only 52%…,” while punctuation is frequently missing or misplaced. These problems sometimes make the relationships between figures difficult to understand. Practise writing complete subject–verb sentences, checking singular and plural agreement, and using one clear comparison per sentence before attempting longer clauses.
