Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover both the graduate destinations and the salary table, and your overview correctly identifies full-time work as the most common destination. Several figures are also reported accurately, including 52% in full-time work, 5% combining part-time work with postgraduate study, and the government-sector figure of 50% earning $100,000 or more. However, some comparisons are incomplete or unclear: “only least amount of people get low salary” does not specify the relevant salary bands, and the private-company figures are only partly described. The statement that the highest number earn the top salary in government is supported, but the overall comparison would be stronger if you highlighted that 80% of government employees and freelance consultants earn at least $75,000, compared with 55% in private companies. Develop the salary overview more fully and report the table categories precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction and overview are followed by a paragraph on destinations and one on salaries. This makes the two visuals easy to distinguish, and linking phrases such as “Regarding” and “However” help signal shifts. The progression is generally logical, but some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “In contect of salaries, initially” does not establish a meaningful sequence, and the final “Overall” repeats an overview after the salary paragraph rather than synthesising both visuals. The reference “the highest number of students” is also imprecise because the table concerns graduates in different employment sectors. To strengthen cohesion, group related salary comparisons together and use clearer references to the categories being compared.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “proportion,” “graduates,” “postgraduation studies,” and “salary,” so the main information is usually understandable. There is some attempt to vary wording, but several inaccurate or awkward choices limit precision: “full type job” is not a natural equivalent of full-time work, and “not know” should be expressed as “not known.” Spelling errors such as “complition,” “contect,” “consulatants,” and “od” are noticeable, while “only least amount” is an unclear phrase. These issues fit a vocabulary range that communicates the topic but is not yet consistently controlled. Learn common chart collocations and check spelling, word forms, and category labels carefully; this will make comparisons more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, and most of the intended comparisons can be understood. However, some grammatical errors remain across the response. The opening phrase “illustrates the what type of work” has an unnecessary article and an awkward clause structure; “after 5 year work” needs a plural noun and a more complete time expression. In “Part-time work and unemployed has the 15% and 12%,” the compound subject does not agree with “has,” and the sentence structure makes the figures difficult to match to their categories. Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “The 50% of students get…” Aim for accurate, direct patterns such as “X% of graduates earned…” and check agreement, articles, and plural forms when editing.
