Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The response identifies the largest destination correctly: full-time work at 52%, followed by part-time work at 15%, and it attempts to describe the salary table. However, the task is addressed only minimally because several key figures and comparisons are omitted or unclear. The overview says “the worth of anthropology is full day work” but does not clearly summarise the main pattern across both visuals. The statement that graduates are “little bit interested” in combining part-time work with postgraduate study is not supported by the chart, which reports a destination share of 5%, not interest. The table discussion gives only one employment category and confuses salary ranges with a rise. Include the remaining destinations and compare salary distributions across all three sectors.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response into an introduction, an overview, and separate discussion of the chart and table. This gives the reader some sense of the intended structure. However, progression is weak: ideas within paragraphs are difficult to follow, and several sentences do not connect clearly to the data. For example, “After that they do full-time postgard study and which type is job is recuired on time they do it” does not establish a clear relationship between the figures. Linking words such as “Overall,” “Furthermore,” and “After that” are used, but they do not consistently clarify the logic. Use one paragraph for the chart and one for the table, and connect each comparison directly to its figures.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some task-related vocabulary, including “proportion,” “full-time work,” “unemployed,” “freelance consultants,” and “salary.” This shows an attempt to describe both visuals. However, vocabulary is often basic, repetitive, or inaccurately chosen, which makes several points hard to understand. Phrases such as “the cost of anthropologists within duty,” “the worth of anthropology,” and “the rose is 40%” do not express the intended information naturally. There are also spelling errors in key terms, including “higgest,” “postgard,” and “antrhropolgy.” Aim for precise chart language such as “share,” “employment sector,” “accounted for,” and “rose to,” and check spelling of repeated topic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple statements and longer sentences, and some basic information can be understood, such as “Full-time work is the higgest number.” However, sentence structures are frequently faulty, and errors often obscure the intended meaning. For example, “The chart illustrates the proportion of anthropology done his study from university rather than completed their undergraduate degree study” has unclear clause structure and agreement. In “which percentages is 52%,” the subject and verb do not agree, while “the second big one is part-time work its value is 15%” joins clauses without appropriate punctuation or a linking structure. Use short, complete sentences first, with accurate subjects and verbs, then add controlled comparisons using forms such as “while” or “whereas.”
