Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main destination pattern accurately: full-time work is the largest category at 52%, and you also report part-time work and unemployment correctly. Your overview also recognises that higher salaries are common in government and freelance roles. However, some key information is omitted or unclear: you do not report the 8% in full-time postgraduate study or the 8% whose destinations are unknown, and the combined part-time-work-and-study group is described as the lowest without giving its 5% figure. The salary overview is too broad: government workers’ most common band is $100,000+, while freelancers are evenly split between $75,000–99,999 and $100,000+. More precise coverage of these comparisons would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement, moving from an introduction and overview to details about destinations and then salaries. Paragraphing helps distinguish the two charts, and signposts such as “Overall,” “Looking at the details,” and “Turning to the salaries” make the progression easy to follow. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some effective linking. To make the flow more consistently controlled, ensure each paragraph develops its topic fully: the destination paragraph leaves out two categories, while the salary paragraph shifts between general claims and individual figures. Some links are also awkward or incomplete, such as “Furthermore” introducing a detail that could be integrated more directly with the preceding salary comparison.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant task vocabulary, including “destinations,” “full-time employment,” “pursued further studies,” and “salary bracket,” so the reader can understand the main comparisons. There is also some attempt at more specific language, such as “combined part-time employment with their studies.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “Anthropoly,” “consultance,” “salry,” and “annualy” are distracting, while “good salaries” is vague for describing income bands. Some phrases are also unnatural, including “making it the popular choice” and “salary between bracket.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and choosing standard collocations for describing proportions and income ranges.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening (“While the table compares…”) and a complex sentence beginning “In contrast.” The main information is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. The opening “While the table compares…” is a dependent clause presented as a sentence, and “after five year” needs a plural noun. In “12% is unemployed,” the verb does not agree naturally with the plural group represented by the percentage. The salary sentence beginning “Turning to the salaries…” also lacks a clear grammatical structure, making the relationship between the workers and their earnings difficult to follow. Use complete clauses and check agreement, articles, and plural forms when describing groups and time periods.
