Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify several key figures accurately: full-time work is the largest destination at 52%, part-time work is 15%, and the combined part-time study category is the smallest at 5%. You also report the top salary band correctly for all three employment types. However, the response covers the information only partially. The remaining destination figures are not specified, and the salary table is reduced to the highest band, with no comparison of the other salary ranges. The conclusion that most graduates “are got jobs and doing part time and pg” is unclear and does not accurately summarise the main pattern. Include a clear overview and select comparisons across both visuals.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has some basic organisation: it introduces the visuals, discusses the graduate destinations, then moves to salaries and ends with a conclusion. Paragraphing helps distinguish the two data sets. However, progression is limited, and phrases such as “At first,” “While coming to,” and “Now we will discuss” feel mechanical rather than guiding the reader through comparisons. The final sentence does not clearly follow from the figures discussed. Improve cohesion by grouping related information, using precise links such as “By contrast” or “In comparison,” and ensuring each paragraph develops a clear point. A concise overview near the beginning would also give the report a stronger structure.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “percentage,” “full time,” “part-time workers,” “salaries,” and “freelance consultants,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several expressions are awkward or imprecise, such as “after finished,” “in simple manner,” and “the graduates are got jobs.” Spelling errors including “remaning” and “unkown” also reduce accuracy. Some wording is repetitive, particularly repeated references to “graduates” and “people.” Use more precise reporting language, for example “accounted for,” “earned,” and “salary band,” and check spelling and natural collocations. This would make the description clearer and more suitable for an academic report.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response communicates its basic meaning, but it relies mainly on simple sentence patterns and has frequent errors in verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “after finished” lacks a suitable verb form, while “the most graduates are got jobs” combines incompatible verb structures. “The second highest was the part-time workers” also has an agreement problem, and “40% of the people receiving” is missing a finite verb. Some sentences begin with “And” or “While” without being integrated smoothly. Practise accurate comparative and reporting structures, such as “Part-time work accounted for 15%” and “Half of government employees earned…”. Greater control of these patterns would improve readability.
