Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days generation, kids are growing faster, because artificial intelligence is developing fast, moreover children think that in this generation they can achieve anything if they can do hard work.
Firstly, the main advantage is that now a days children using technology more, it helps them to improve their skills and build their career in the future, such as they can do many things at present because learning new things are easy know and if they put extra effects, they may achieve anything. For example, if children do little hard work their can buy what they like or they can do what they love.
Secondly, the is reason disadvantages of this message is that children they can achieve anything but is not right thought because if they thinking was this may be using technology as a wrong way. For instance, they may cheat or wrong use of technology because no one achieve anything with hard works such how should work on things that comes with hard working.
In my opinion, children's can achieve anything in a correct way with a proper knowledge and if they cheat or do misuse of things this a disadvantage to them because its effects on their future as well as.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you identify both advantages and disadvantages, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack depth. For instance, the discussion on technology is somewhat tangential to the core prompt about the 'anything is possible' mindset. The position is present but not consistently maintained or clearly articulated due to the brevity and lack of supporting evidence. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples and ensure you meet the minimum length to allow for a full exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly', but the flow of ideas is often disjointed. The paragraphing is present, but the logical progression within paragraphs is weak. For example, the transition between the benefits of technology and the potential for cheating is abrupt and lacks a clear logical link. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'the is reason disadvantages', which makes the text difficult to follow. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'things', 'do', and 'hard work'. There are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'extra effects' (likely meaning 'effort') and 'wrong use of technology'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations, while ensuring that your word choices are accurate and appropriate for the context of an academic essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('children's can achieve', 'learning new things are easy'), sentence structure, and word order. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often faulty. For example, 'if they thinking was this may be using technology as a wrong way' is grammatically incoherent. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring correct verb forms and punctuation to improve the accuracy and readability of your writing.
