It is undeniable that children can achieve their goals by hard work . In this regard in some people think children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough . This essay will outline not only both perspectives .

To commence with there are several merits regarding this notion . Firstly children encourage hard work . To explain it that children have a abilities to do hard work they never give up and complete their ambition . For example children wants to become a doctor by doing hard work they achieve their dreams . Secondly it help to boost the confidence level . To clarify it that by achieving their goals helps to boost the confidence they do better to get more desirable results . As result children complete their goals .

However there few demerits of this notion . First and fore most are create unnecessary pressure on children . In conclusion although there are several merits of this notion such as boost confidence .Yet demerits of this notion can never be neglected at any cost

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both the advantages and disadvantages of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding 'confidence' is mentioned in both the advantages and the conclusion, but it lacks depth. The explanation of the disadvantages, such as 'unnecessary pressure,' is relevant but remains superficial. The essay would benefit from more specific, well-reasoned examples rather than simple, repetitive statements. The position is clear, but the overall development is basic, which aligns with the descriptors for Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical and sometimes inaccurate. Phrases like 'To explain it that' and 'To justify it that' are used repetitively and do not function effectively as logical connectors. Furthermore, the transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'Example of this point are parents of children create pressure'. The progression of ideas is present but lacks the sophistication required for a higher band score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. Words like 'children,' 'hard work,' and 'notion' are used frequently throughout the text. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'disappoiment' (spelling) and 'do better to get more desirable results.' While the meaning is generally conveyed, the range is not sufficient to demonstrate flexibility or precision. The student relies on basic vocabulary, and there is little evidence of an attempt to use less common lexical items or idiomatic language, which keeps the score at the Band 5 level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('children wants,' 'it help'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack proper punctuation, such as 'In this regard in some people think children are often told'. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty, leading to a lack of clarity. The frequency of errors is high enough to cause some difficulty for the reader, although the overall message remains understandable. This level of accuracy and range is consistent with Band 5.0.
