IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In some cultures, children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Childrens are the future of our world.In some cultures, children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough behind this message there are several advantages and disadvantages as well..

Firstly we talk about its advantages sometimes we all face hurdles and difficulties while achieving something and we find it impossible to achieve it.Childrens also suffers from this. By trying hard we can acheive anything we want and in practical life its so true.We can also increases our childrens moral by telling that we can gain anything if we tried harder.I think this will gives courage to a child to achieve something and they do not feel anything impossible to achieve.They will try hard and hard to achieve its success instead facing of failure.|

Also, there are some downsides. If a child is not interested in something, we should not force them to do it. Their interest is very neccessary because i think our interest gaves us a courage and motivation to try hard and achieve something. For example if childrens do not have any interest in any field like engineering we should not force them to choose

it.Because i beleive people love to do hard work in such things who they likes the most .Sometimes we force our childs to do hard work in such things that they dont like and they have no interest in it .
