Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both sides of the question and give a general view that encouraging hard work can be beneficial, while smart tools may offer an alternative. The advantage is relevant: children may stay focused and put effort into tasks. However, the response does not fully explain the specific disadvantages of telling children they can achieve anything through effort. The discussion of AI and efficient study is mainly about working smart rather than the possible limits of the message—for example, unrealistic expectations, disappointment, or blaming oneself when effort does not lead to success. Your position is also not clearly maintained in a concluding statement. Develop each side with a direct explanation and an example tied to the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has a basic overall structure, with separate sections for advantages and disadvantages, and transitions such as “But on the other side” signal a change in direction. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow: the disadvantage section moves from apps and AI to homework, e-notes, and thinking capability without clearly showing how these points answer the question. Some linking is mechanical, and the opening combines several ideas in one long sentence. Use a clear introduction, one focused paragraph for each side, and a brief conclusion. Connect each example to its main point, and use pronouns and transitions only where their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “stay focused,” “put efforts,” “instant solution,” and “thinking capability,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or informal, such as “back tap,” “smart learning,” and “work hard about it.” Spelling errors—including “Genarlly,” “instaed,” and “homeword”—also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise language connected to the topic, such as “motivation,” “realistic expectations,” and “cope with setbacks.” Check spelling and collocations carefully, and avoid repeating “work hard” and “smartly” when a more exact expression is available.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and some basic clauses communicate your ideas, such as “It keeps them motivate and acts like a back tap.” However, errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. Examples include “they are used to listen,” “this lesson have disadvantages,” and “The world have become,” where verb forms or subject–verb agreement are incorrect. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also unreliable, particularly in the opening and the final “It will.increase” sentence. Practise accurate present-tense forms and agreement, and divide long sentences into complete clauses. More controlled complex sentences using “because,” “although,” or “if” would help express cause and contrast clearly.
