Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0
You state a relevant position: “I beleive that it impact or gave the negative effect on the development of rural area,” and you begin to explain that migration can leave villages without people to support development. However, the response addresses the question only minimally: it gives one brief reason, does not develop it with explanation or an example, and does not consider the effects of rural-to-urban migration in enough detail. The response also contains only 83 words, below the required 250, so the argument is substantially incomplete. To improve, explain several consequences, such as shortages of workers or reduced access to services in villages, and support each point with a relevant example before reaching a clear conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the issue and your view, while “On the one hand” signals a move to a supporting point. The ideas are broadly related to the question, but the response stops before a clear overall progression or conclusion is established. The second paragraph also contains a long, loosely connected sentence, and the relationship between migration, education and employment is not clearly explained. Develop a fuller sequence of paragraphs—for example, position, reasons with supporting details, and conclusion—and use linking expressions to show how each idea follows from the previous one. Clearer sentence boundaries and references would also make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “population,” “education,” “employment” and “development,” so the general subject is recognisable. However, the range is limited, and several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “regionside,” “opportunies,” “directely effect” and “no one to say and stand for the development.” These choices make parts of the meaning difficult to interpret. Aim for precise, natural collocations such as “rural areas,” “job opportunities,” “negatively affect” and “advocate for village development.” Check spelling carefully and avoid repeating broad terms like “development” without specifying what is affected, such as local services, businesses or infrastructure.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts both a complex opening sentence and a contrastive paragraph beginning “On the one hand,” but sentence structures remain limited and several errors make the meaning unclear. For example, “the population of the regionside are falling” has an agreement problem, while “if people migrate there will be no one” needs clearer clause punctuation and a more complete construction. The opening also shifts awkwardly between “impact” and “gave,” and the second paragraph contains an incomplete sentence: “On the one hand, people moving…” Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, maintaining consistent verb forms, and using commas to separate introductory clauses. More accurate simple sentences would help before adding complex structures.
