Student answer (Band 6.5)
In many countries of the world, rural people are moving to cities that's why population decreasing in the countryside. Although some people might consider it negative development and I believe it to be extremely beneficial.
Not only because they get quality education also get better hospital facilities, and fast access to shopping malls where everything available easily rather than rural areas.
There are multiple benefits associated with having moving to cities, they can get a better knowledge of any associated degree. As to studying in cities we can access to well experience faculty about every subject. For example as we know the literacy rate of rural areas are more than the urban areas because rural areas have less educated and less institutions.
Secondly, moving to cities can get a better healthcare facilities as compare to rural areas. As we know that if any emergency happens in rural areas they have limited access to reaching out timely in urban hospitals for get instant treatment. Thus living in rural areas get proper and better treatment timely.
Thirdly, we can also access to shopping malls where we can get everything that we used in our daily life. And we also get these things appropriate and in range of varieties. As we know in rural areas, only limited things available like if we want to buy quality clothes, shoes, cosmetics product then we must go to the cities because these things are not available in rural areas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that urbanization is beneficial. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding education is weakened by a confusing statement: 'the literacy rate of rural areas are more than the urban areas'. This contradicts your main point and suggests a lack of clarity in supporting your position. While you provide three main reasons (education, healthcare, and shopping), the explanation for each is brief and relies on generalizations. To improve, ensure that your supporting points are logically consistent and provide more specific, well-developed examples to justify your stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Not only', 'Secondly', and 'Thirdly' to signal new points. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'having moving to cities'. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the concluding sentence is incomplete and does not effectively summarize the argument. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that links back to the main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive phrasing such as 'get' and 'better'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'well experience faculty' instead of 'experienced faculty' and 'expenditure of a living style' instead of 'cost of living'. While your meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of word-choice errors limit the score. Try to incorporate more topic-specific terminology related to urbanization, such as 'infrastructure', 'socio-economic development', or 'access to amenities'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'literacy rate... are'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'they can get a better knowledge of any associated degree'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from being considered error-free. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve the clarity and accuracy of your writing.
