In many countries, an increasing number of people leaving rural areas to live in cities resulting in a decline the countryside population.Although this trend can provide individuals with better employment and educational opportunities,I believe it is negative development because it creates problems fro both rural and urban communities.
To commence with, more people are move to cities can be burden as a overcrowding in a result housing become more expensive and less wealthy people are struggling to find good house for them. Moreover, due to excessive people living in urban areas can create traffic congestion and increase in pollution.Every public services such as hospitals and schools can become overstretched.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task, presenting a clear position that the migration is a negative development. The ideas are relevant, covering both urban pressures and rural decline. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about India’s agricultural production is a good start but lacks depth. The essay maintains a consistent stance throughout, though the counter-argument in the fourth paragraph is slightly underdeveloped in relation to the main argument. Overall, the response is well-structured and fulfills the requirements of the prompt effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized with clear paragraphing. Each paragraph has a central topic, and the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'On other hand', though some are used mechanically or with minor errors (e.g., 'On other hand' should be 'On the other hand'). Referencing is generally clear, although some transitions between sentences feel slightly abrupt. The overall flow is sufficient to guide the reader through the argument without significant confusion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'remittances', 'overstretched', and 'agricultural production'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'excessive people' instead of 'an excessive number of people', and 'loss worker' instead of 'lose workers'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and collocations to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('more people are move to cities'), missing articles ('a decline the countryside'), and incorrect verb forms ('agricultural production could declined'). While the meaning remains clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on proofreading for tense consistency and article usage to improve accuracy.
