Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays most of the people moving rural areas to urban that is causing the difficulties of population when i talk about my opinion it is negative development for rural and urban areas.
From my perspective that is negative development most of people's leave the rural area and than come to urban that is much difficulty in rural because most of the people which is live in rural they are farmers they work very hard and support the people's. Who live in city when people moved to city they are shortage of workers in the rural so that almost half percent of the workers in the filed that is the reason faminies coming after alot of time India face almost 200 hundred faminies because most of the people which are lived in rural they moved to cities when they moved there faminies occur.
Faminies occur due to lack of people in the rural this is primarily because workers should be shorter in the field when no one should be able to work in the field like agriculture and whatever so faminies are occur some time they also occur due to the lack of rain or due to the shortage of workers much of the milk supply in the rural areas because alot of people have to cow in the farm house to supply milk in the urban areas or anywhere else.
I strongly believe that it is negative development because they will be destroy the both rural or urban areas . They destroy the urban areas due to huge of population and rural should be destroy due to reduce there growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that rural-to-urban migration is a negative development. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The argument focuses heavily on the link between migration and famine, which is a significant over-generalization and lacks logical depth. While the prompt is addressed, the supporting points are not well-extended or supported with nuanced reasoning. The essay relies on circular arguments, such as stating that rural areas are destroyed because people leave, without exploring the broader socio-economic complexities required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often unclear. Cohesive devices are used in a very mechanical and repetitive way, such as the frequent use of 'when' and 'because' to link clauses. There is a lack of variety in transition words, and the referencing is sometimes confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow. The internal structure of the paragraphs is weak, as sentences often repeat the same point rather than building upon it, which hinders the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate, which occasionally impedes communication. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'people', 'rural', 'urban', and 'destroy'. The student struggles with word choice, such as using 'faminies' (famines) repeatedly and incorrectly in context, and 'filed' (fields). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, and there is a lack of awareness regarding collocation and style. The errors in word formation and spelling are frequent and noticeable throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies primarily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'most of the people which is live'), article usage, and tense consistency. Punctuation is largely absent or misused, leading to run-on sentences that make the text difficult to parse. The grammatical control is weak, and the frequency of errors is high, which causes significant strain on the reader and interferes with the clarity of the message.
