Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the search of development the rural areas are being transformed into cities, humongous amount of people are leaving the countryside and moving to the city. Which is having a concerning effects. So, according to my perception it consist of both positive and negative points. Which I would be explaining below.
The growth of every citizen is significantly important as it plays an important role in the growth of any nation. Many person percept that countryside are having no scope for future which leads to people moving to developed or developing areas.
Few flaws which impacts majorly are the shortage in the crops produce which is one of the primary section of many business. Also, the prices of food would be rocketed which may lead to economic crises.
Nevertheless, there are ample of positives which impacts to development. The people who are connected to the villages, living in cities could possibly learn how they could have better yield of crops or could run a tycoon which is developing the country and the individual. Meanwhile, other reason is better resources present in the cities which attract the people living in villages, better education medical facilities which helps rotate money.
In conclusion, moving of people from village impacts has both pros and cons as discussed above, negative impacts are more concerning as it is not seen instantly but gradually it is going to impact. While pros are viable and could be archived by staying in the village but would take a considerable time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both positive and negative aspects of rural-to-urban migration. However, the development of ideas is limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'tycoons' and 'better yield of crops' is vague and lacks clear logical connection to the topic. The position is stated in the introduction, but the conclusion is somewhat contradictory, suggesting that the negative impacts are more concerning while simultaneously noting that the positives are 'viable'. To improve, you should provide more specific, well-supported examples rather than general statements. The ideas remain at a surface level, which prevents a higher score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often disrupted by awkward phrasing and sentence fragments. For example, 'Which is having a concerning effects' is a fragment that should be part of the previous sentence. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Nevertheless' and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically. The progression of ideas is not always smooth, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of unnatural word choices, such as 'humongous amount of people', 'many person percept', and 'run a tycoon'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To achieve a higher band score, you should focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology. Avoid informal or imprecise phrasing like 'rocketed' or 'primary section of many business'. Expanding your range of vocabulary and ensuring correct word usage will help you convey your ideas more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('it consist of'), article usage ('the rural areas'), and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the misuse of full stops where commas or conjunctions would be more appropriate. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors requires the reader to work harder to understand the intended message. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
