Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address the topic of rural-to-urban migration, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack specific examples. For instance, you mention 'better education' and 'employment' but do not elaborate on how these specifically impact the individual or society. The position is somewhat clear, but the lack of depth and the brevity of the essay prevent a higher score. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with detailed explanations and relevant examples to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by fragmented sentences and awkward transitions. Phrases like 'In first paragraph' and 'Further more. there is a some negative point' are mechanical and do not effectively guide the reader. The use of cohesive devices is limited, and the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the abrupt transition between the benefits of urban life and the challenges of government management. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would greatly enhance the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to convey complex ideas. There are several instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'urban sides' instead of 'urban areas' and 'uncivilized to civilized place,' which is an inappropriate and inaccurate description of rural versus urban life. You rely on simple phrasing, which restricts the range of your expression. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations, and avoid informal or inaccurate descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('there is a some negative point'), article usage ('the government had facing'), and sentence structure (e.g., 'Instead of they live their whole life in minimum resources'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. To improve, you should focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb tenses and the proper use of articles, before attempting more complex structures.
