Student answer (Band 5.5)
In my opinion, this is the positive development for the reason rural people has a great intellect but due to lack of opportunities in the rural region they do not grow in their thoughts and ideas. I experienced such a region barrier personally. I belong to a remote area of Sindh where access of advance studies and technologies are very limited. After my high school I had to move in city for my higher studies but now after my higher studies. I have to live in city for professional work since not only the lack of higher of higher education in rural areas also there is shortage of industry and professional work. Additionally, the issue that rural people face alongside professional work, and higher education is the competition and confident with the cities people. Although the great intellect of rural people has but due to lack of confidence, they face problems to communicate effectively and have to try hard to compete their competitor. In conclude, the shifting from rural region towards cities is positive change or development for a nation after all every person should be right to study higher and contribute to their country economy and development. In my view the moving from rural to city region should be doing in early age or education in their children. Because the issue of effective communication and confidence they face later when they try to get job or do higher studies, so the early age shifting reduce this issue and give every person has enough confidence to present their self confidently and effectively in front of world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the migration is a positive development. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you provide personal anecdotes about your experience in Sindh, the arguments regarding the broader societal impact are somewhat underdeveloped. The essay focuses heavily on personal challenges rather than exploring the wider economic or social implications for the country as a whole. To improve, ensure that you balance personal experience with more generalized arguments about the impact of rural-to-urban migration on national development, infrastructure, and the rural economy to provide a more comprehensive response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of your argument. The text is presented as a single block, which is a significant weakness in terms of structure. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Additionally' and 'Although', the flow between sentences is often disjointed. The transition between your personal experience and your concluding thoughts is abrupt. To improve, you must organize your response into distinct paragraphs: an introduction, body paragraphs for your main arguments, and a conclusion. This will help the reader follow your logic more effectively.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks precision. Phrases like 'region barrier' and 'cities people' are non-standard and suggest a limited range of collocations. You rely on basic vocabulary to express complex ideas, which hinders your ability to convey your points with nuance. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to migration and socio-economic development, such as 'urbanization,' 'disparity,' 'infrastructure,' or 'professional prospects.' Focus on using words in their correct context to avoid awkward phrasing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('rural people has'), article usage ('the shifting from rural region'), and sentence structure ('the issue that rural people face... is the competition and confident'). Many sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, such as the fragment 'After my high school I had to move in city for my higher studies but now after my higher studies.' You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at more complex sentences often contain errors. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly improve your score.
