Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the positive and negative aspects of rural-to-urban migration. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention economic growth and the challenges of farming, the arguments are often fragmented and lack depth. The conclusion attempts to summarize, but the phrasing is repetitive and unclear, making it difficult to follow your final stance. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on one clear main idea supported by a specific example or logical explanation, and maintain a consistent position throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by disjointed sentences and unclear transitions. Phrases like 'To sumap place is place' and the repetitive 'To samup' at the end indicate a lack of control over cohesive devices. Referencing is often confusing, and the progression of ideas within paragraphs is not always smooth. To reach a higher band, focus on using linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand') more accurately and ensure that each sentence logically follows the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are numerous spelling errors (e.g., 'imigration', 'devlopment', 'Contries', 'decray', 'enviorounment') and word-choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'rural sides', 'forming' instead of 'farming', 'bulling' instead of 'building'). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the frequent errors and misuse of words occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Expanding your vocabulary through reading and focusing on correct spelling and collocations will help you convey your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('world have seen'), incorrect sentence structure, and punctuation mistakes. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary articles and prepositions. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, they are often faulty, which causes difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring that subjects and verbs agree, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb tenses.
