IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In many countries around the world, rural people are moving to cities, so the population in the countryside is decreasing.

Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Population is the one of most important factor in the development of every country . In the world many countries , rural people are moving to cities , the population in the country side is decreasing. People learn through their whole life .

I thinks this is negative development rural people are moving to cities because in the many countries have rural areas where not have much facilities provided, that force the rural people to move cities . In the cities they want to enjoy the fully facillited life with equality .

I give the reasons to support my answer. The rural people are play important role in every development country , they are major parts of our agriculture system . If they move from these areas that have great impact on agriculture systems ,if the low cultivates thr crops like maize , rice and major is wheat . If wheat is not cultivate proper that not filled the requirements , than Goverment needs the import the wheat from other country that have great impact on country economy .

The another reason is if the rural people move to the cities that decrease the population from countryside , but it also increase the cities population thats have great impact on cities , the much population is increased the low facility has provided . for example the consumers is more than producers product that causes the shortage of product and increase the rate of product .

I thinks it may be positive development but it is more negative development for country to decrease the population from countryside .
