IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In many countries around the world, rural people are moving to cities, so the population in the countryside is decreasing.

Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 4.0)

In my point of view it a positive developement, because pople living in rural areas having lack of facilites. Few of them are described like in rural areas having health problems and education problem are the big caused because you can clearly differentiate them. A student study in a rural school vs a student study in a city school you clearly see the difference between them. A city school studnet have well mannered and obidient, while the other one the student who study in a rural school is not good their staff teachers and studying techniques are duedated. A lots of more lacks is english medium and urdu medium the student who study in city school the way of their talk and well mannered vs the studnet studies in rural school.

Another example i give here, is health facilites there are no proper hospitals are set up in rural areas, No proper doctor and staff are present. While as compared to cities 24/7 Government and private hospitals are open if you face any emergency you should go their and get cured. While in rural areas firstly you come to move with patient in city hospital and then they get checkup their and diagnose problem. I see in real life cases one of mmy relative lives in a village in night time having they faces heart problem. They donot find any special doctor then they decided to move to big city hospital. Its about 90 kiliometers away during his travel his issue getting become serious and they lost his life.

Furthermore, there are numerous word choice and spelling errors, such as 'developement', 'pople', 'obidient', 'duedated', 'lacks', and 'studnet', which consistently strain the reader's comprehension. While the writer attempts to introduce less common topics like healthcare and education, the lexical control is weak, preventing the response from achieving a higher score. This lexical profile corresponds to a Band 4.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of poorly constructed simple and complex sentences that contain frequent and severe errors. There is a persistent lack of basic subject-verb agreement and incorrect sentence boundaries, as seen in fragments and run-on sentences like 'In my point of view it a positive developement, because pople living in rural areas having lack of facilites.'
