Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries around the world, rural people are moving to cities, cause the population pf contryside to decrease. I strongly believe this is a positive developent because cities provide better job opportunities and access to essaintial ammenties.
One major advantage is that people can find better job in urban area. In the bg cities there are many companies, business, and job oppurtunties and better salary, for their home and financial issues, in the small town there is no scope of any degree and not too much salary this is the main reason they are coming to big cities. Therefore, individals are shifted to rural areas they have beome to financial stable and growh of their childrens and improved their overall living. For instance, many young people moves to big cities to find jobs in offices, hospitals schools and technoloy companies.
One another advantage, the significant benefits is access to education and health care. Urban areas generally have a more schools, universites and hospitals than the rural communities. additionally, this allows to recieve best education and medical treatments. Some people more benefits to study in university to learn skills from there in future career. Similarly, some people graduated from medical colleges and doing free work to their poor communities. Moreover, these are not earn too much and would not pay their own medical bills. Doctors gives their best in this life.
In conclusion, although the decline in rural popullations can create some challenges, i consider thius trend a positive development. better job oppurtunities, schools health care and economic prospects can significantly help people and achieve the higher standard of bliving.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses the prompt directly by taking a clear position that the rural-to-urban migration is a positive development, citing better job opportunities and access to essential amenities. The main body paragraphs attempt to extend these ideas, mentioning specific fields like offices, hospitals, schools, and technology companies. However, some ideas are repetitive and under-developed, particularly in the third paragraph regarding medical college graduates. The response meets the task requirements by covering all parts of the prompt, but the support lacks depth and structure in places, leading to a Band 6.0 performance for Task Achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, demonstrating an overall structure. However, paragraphing and logical progression are frequently hindered by awkward transitions and confusing sentence connections. For instance, phrases like 'One another advantage, the significant benefits is...' and repetitive linking devices show mechanical cohesion and occasional faulty referencing. While the overarching progression is discernible, the lack of smooth transitions and confusing pronoun references mean the organizational flow does not consistently meet the higher criteria, placing this firmly at Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms such as 'opportunities,' 'essential amenities,' and 'financial stability.' However, there are numerous spelling and word-form errors throughout the text, including 'contryside' for countryside, 'developent' for development, 'essaintial ammenties' for essential amenities, 'oppurtunties' for opportunities, and 'popullations' for populations. Less common lexical items are attempted, but inaccuracies in word choice and spelling are noticeable and occasionally impede readability, which aligns with the descriptor for Band 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'cause the population pf contryside to decrease,' 'individals are shifted to rural areas they have beome to financial stable,' and 'some people more benefits to study.' Punctuation and capitalization are also inconsistent, with lowercase letters starting sentences and names. While communication is not entirely obscured, the high frequency of errors across both simple and complex structures restricts the score to a Band 5.0.
