In these past years, we oberve a huge change in our communities and all over the world. Due to the advances technology . the public is amazed from the acknowledgement . Although for better future , people of rural areas are moving to cities ,having both negative and positive impact .

Firstly, as a positive development , it is considered vital because cities have more opportunities as compared to rural areas . The life has got very innovative in urban area due to more advance technology and the betterment of wellbeing.Highly qualified people are available for better treatment and upbringing. Opportunities for job , best medical treatment , education institites are available.

Secondly, as a negative development , the city life is very fast , people dont have healthy and organic food . Due to work load and shortage of the time people prefer ready to eat food , which have bad consequences at our health. Life in rural is simple and organic due to lifestyle and main food supply is done from farmers which provide essential food and that is transferred to international scale .

In conclusion, I would recommend the urban areas are for young and working peOple they could adjust easily in this lifestyle but not for the elder ones they have experienced a simple life in rural area. Although , they are unaware of this generational modification.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially and fails to meet the minimum length requirement of 250 words, falling short at 231 words. While the writer attempts to discuss both the positive and negative developments of rural-to-urban migration, the position is not always clearly sustained throughout the essay. The ideas presented are limited and remain under-developed. For instance, points regarding urban opportunities and health consequences of ready-to-eat food are introduced rather briefly without sufficient extension or relevant examples from personal knowledge or experience. To achieve a higher band, the writer must ensure the word count requirement is fully met and provide a more fully developed, thoroughly supported discussion that clearly covers all parts of the prompt with extended, detailed ideas.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation present in the response, but it lacks a clear overall progression. Paragraphing is attempted with standard transitional markers such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly', but the flow between sentences and ideas can feel disjointed. Cohesive devices are sometimes inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, making the overall arrangement somewhat mechanical rather than naturally flowing. For example, the concluding paragraph abruptly introduces a distinction between young and elderly people that disrupts the logical progression of the essay. To improve, the writer needs to ensure that every paragraph follows a clear thematic progression, using referencing and cohesive ties more accurately and flexibly to guide the reader smoothly through the argument from introduction to conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'generational modification' and 'betterment of wellbeing', but these attempts are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form. There are also frequent spelling and punctuation errors, such as 'oberve', 'institites', and spacing issues around punctuation marks like 'technology . the public'. These errors occasionally cause some difficulty or hesitation for the reader. To move to a higher band, the writer should expand their lexical repertoire and use words with greater precision and natural collocation, while paying closer attention to accurate spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying primarily on simple sentences alongside poorly controlled attempts at complex forms. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text, including tense inconsistencies ('we oberve'), missing articles ('The life has got', 'Opportunities for job'), and faulty prepositional or clause structures. These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader in places. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to incorporate a wider variety of complex sentence structures and improve grammatical accuracy, ensuring better control over verb forms, articles, pluralisation, and punctuation.
