Student answer (Band 5.5)
In general, most of the countries around the world, village residence are shifting to the urban areas, so the number of inhabitants is increasing in the cities.
The community in which people live plays a signanficant role in their life's. It always have a favourable impact on one's mentall health so I suggest living in a place where numerous amount of facilities are provided must be the utmost choice of every citizen.
Living in the rural areas has its own positive affects. For instance, the surroundings are less populated and the air is fresh with no viral infections lingering in the atmosphere. Additionally, countrysides are full of greenery with vibrant and colourful flowers all over the place. Simultaneously, we cannot deny the fact about least facilities available there which makes it a last choice of residence for people who are seeking emplyment or the children who needs to get better education. living here can be favourable after retirement when the managing finances are shrug of one's shoulder.
Consequently, majority of the people migrate to urban areas for living due to the better quality of live and the services available at hand. Therefore, they choose to live in the place where they are able to avail these offerings instantly or without any delay. For example, cities have better medical facilities and well reputed institutions where the children have a closer exposure to the better education system. Moreover, better career opportunities lays in the cities only. Therefore, individuals are compelled to move. The only negative impact a city can have would be the over population and shortage of several resources. Urban areas on the other hand are loosing good farmers and the advancement in the agriculture fields due to the people shifting from particular regions.
In the concluding statement, it is concluded that people think about their better future which I firmly believe is their human right and they should accept any chances of growth coming there way. Keeping in mind, the life in urban area is much more desirable comparatively.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question by discussing both the attractions of rural life and the reasons people move to cities, and your conclusion indicates that you see migration as broadly positive because it can improve people’s futures. Examples such as access to medical care, education and employment are relevant and help explain this view. However, the position is not fully clear throughout: the opening mainly describes the population shift, while the body also gives substantial attention to rural benefits and the loss of farmers. The claim that city life is “much more desirable” could be supported with a clearer explanation of why its benefits outweigh overcrowding and pressure on resources. Develop the agricultural consequences and connect them more directly to your overall judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to rural advantages, urban attractions and a conclusion. Paragraphing generally separates these stages, and examples such as better medical facilities and educational institutions support the discussion. However, progression is sometimes difficult to follow because the opening does not clearly state your position, and the rural paragraph shifts abruptly from fresh air and greenery to limited facilities and retirement. Linking expressions such as “Consequently,” “Therefore” and “Moreover” are used repeatedly, sometimes where the relationship between ideas is not fully explained. The final paragraph also repeats the preference for urban life rather than drawing together the main reasons. Make each paragraph’s central point explicit and use references and transitions that show the precise relationship between claims.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “inhabitants,” “facilities,” “career opportunities,” “overpopulation” and “agriculture,” which allows you to discuss both rural and urban life. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “compelled to move.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “better quality of live,” “least facilities,” “shrug of one’s shoulder” and “loosing good farmers” are examples. Several expressions are also unnecessarily elaborate, such as “avail these offerings instantly.” Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than formal-sounding phrases, and proofread spelling and word forms. This would make your adequate range more consistently effective and easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “which,” “when” and “where,” and most of your main ideas remain understandable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence construction recur. For example, “It always have” should use a singular verb, while “the children who needs” has a subject–verb agreement problem. In “better career opportunities lays,” the verb does not agree with its plural subject. Some sentences also have unclear or incomplete grammatical relationships, particularly “living here can be favourable after retirement when the managing finances are shrug of one’s shoulder.” Improve control of agreement and clause structure, and check punctuation and capitalisation at sentence boundaries. More accurate complex sentences would strengthen the range you are already attempting.
