Student answer (Band 5.5)
In many countries around worls people are moving to maga cities, thus is result in decreasing population in countryside. I think it could lead to negative development of country.
firstly let's descuss the reason why people moving to maga cities.Mega cities provied better employment, high salary, opportunity, exclusive education facility and many more. people think lige in cities are secure that's why they choose to live here . people move from urban area to cites to make strong career and settle there life also to provide better life to their family.for example city like ahemdabad, mumbai provide better employment secure career opportunity to show up. thus people choose to move
Just as coin has two side this also has disadvange, moving from urban area to city lead to sortage of worker specially in farm , farmer can suffer and this lead to storge in food production. for example in one of farm four person were working but three of them move to city for better employment ,one who left could not manage to whole work alone, hence result in less food production. also there will be problem to run school , hospital due to decrease in strength of student and people
futhermore one more disadvange of moving to cities , if everyone will move to city there will be overcrowd and it lead to shortage of food, scarcity of land, increase in price for accomdation, more people more traffic, which ultimatly lead to pollution and also affect our health and increase in compitition.
To conclude i would like to say as much people move to cities more negavitive impact to development of country and ecosystem.i would like to suggest that stay where you are and try to develope that area.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider rural-to-city migration a negative development, and you give relevant reasons, including reduced farm labour, weaker rural services, and urban overcrowding and pollution. The farm example helps illustrate how migration could affect food production. This addresses the question, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the effects on schools and hospitals are mentioned briefly, and the conclusion’s suggestion that people should “stay where you are” does not explain how rural areas could be improved or why that would address the causes of migration. Develop the main reasons with clearer cause-and-effect links and support them with specific, plausible examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs discussing reasons and disadvantages, and a conclusion. The progression from employment opportunities to rural consequences and then urban pressures is generally understandable. However, the organisation within paragraphs is sometimes loose, and several ideas are joined in long sequences, particularly the list of overcrowding, food scarcity, housing costs, traffic, and pollution. Connectors such as “firstly,” “also,” and “furthermore” help signal movement, but some are mechanical or do not make the relationship between ideas precise. Use one main focus per paragraph, group related consequences, and add clearer links explaining how one effect leads to another. This would make the overall progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “employment,” “food production,” “overcrowd,” “scarcity,” and “pollution,” so the reader can understand the main points. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less precise, such as “maga cities,” “secure career opportunity,” “sortage of worker,” and “accomdation.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “show up” for demonstrating ability or building a career. Learn common collocations for migration and urbanisation, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More accurate choices would help you express the same ideas clearly without relying on repeated general terms such as “better” and “problem.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and some attempts at complex sentences, including “if everyone will move to city there will be overcrowd” and the example beginning “if four person were working.” These attempts show an effort to explain conditions and consequences. However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries can make the reader pause. For example, “people think lige in cities are secure” has an unclear grammatical structure, while “one who left could not manage to whole work alone” is missing necessary grammatical elements. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences, then extend them with correctly formed clauses using “because,” “if,” and “which.” Review punctuation to separate complete ideas.
