Student answer (Band 6.0)
People living in rural areas in many states are shifting towards urban cities today, which has declined rural population in those places.
As for as my perspective in concerned, this is a positive development having multiple benefits for the masses and overall prosperity of that particular nation.
First of all, in almost every country of the world, the rural area has less basic facilities as compared to urban cities. For instance, the education sector struggles in villages, the children in this region are deprived of competitive education environment, their migration to big cities open many doors for them in education field. Basic healthcare units is another thing to consider, people`s emigration to cities provide them the opportunity to take care of themselves properly.
Having said that, this developmet is positive because it helps nation to reach the highest place of growth. It is seen in multiple cases that rural kids are very intelligent but they lack confidence and chance to perform for the nation. Once they come to major cities, they gain confidence and opportunites to show their talent. These intelligent people then become the asset of a nation which aids in wellbeing of country economically, technologically, and strategically.
To sum up, today, the people living in rural side are moving to urban areas in many countries of the world. This has proved to be a vital step to be taken because it provides equal hopes to them as to the masses living in urban cities. The countries become sound in economy and technology as these people strengthened these pivotal sections of a state.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction: you consider rural-to-urban migration a positive development, and both body paragraphs give relevant reasons. You explain that cities offer better education and healthcare, then argue that migrants can gain confidence and contribute to national development. These points address the question, but some are asserted more than developed. For example, the claim that migration helps a country reach “the highest place of growth” would be stronger with a specific explanation or example of how this happens. The discussion also focuses almost entirely on benefits; briefly acknowledging a possible drawback, such as pressure on city services or declining rural communities, and explaining why the benefits outweigh it would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, two paragraphs present supporting reasons, and a conclusion restates your position. Signposting such as “First of all,” “Having said that,” and “To sum up” helps readers follow the argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. “Having said that” usually introduces a contrast, but the next sentence continues to support the same positive view. Within the first body paragraph, education and healthcare are placed together, but the links between the examples and the broader claim could be made more explicit. Use transitions that reflect the actual relationship between ideas, and develop each paragraph around a clearly connected main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “basic facilities,” “competitive education,” “healthcare,” and “economically, technologically, and strategically.” These choices help communicate your main ideas, and you attempt more formal expressions such as “asset of a nation.” However, several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, including “urban cities,” “rural side,” and “equal hopes,” which make the writing sound less fluent. There are also spelling errors such as “developmet” and “opportunites,” alongside awkward collocations such as “reach the highest place of growth.” Aim for natural combinations and precise wording rather than elevated phrases that do not fit the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “which,” “because,” and “Once,” and your meaning is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “Basic healthcare units is another thing” has a plural subject with a singular verb, while “the rural area has less basic facilities” has an article and countability problem. The sentence beginning “For instance, the education sector struggles in villages” then joins several independent ideas with commas, making the structure difficult to control. Review subject–verb agreement and practise separating or linking clauses accurately. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen the response.
