Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear view that rural-to-urban migration is negative and identify relevant causes, including limited healthcare, education, employment and technology in villages. The suggestions for government action also relate to the issue. However, the response mainly lists reasons and solutions rather than developing an argument about why the population shift itself is harmful. For example, you do not explain consequences for rural communities, such as a shrinking workforce or reduced local services, or discuss possible benefits to migrants and cities. Several points are asserted without support, and the statistic about “80 peecnet” is unclear and not connected convincingly to your argument. Explain and illustrate your main reasons, and keep the focus on evaluating the development.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The numbered sections make the main topics easy to identify, and the response moves from causes to your opinion and then to proposed actions. However, the organisation feels like notes rather than a connected essay: there is no developed introduction or conclusion, and the numbered lists interrupt the flow of an argument. Links between ideas are limited, while repeated openings such as “In villages” and “In cities” make the progression mechanical. The final string of random letters also disrupts the response and prevents a clear ending. Use paragraphs with one central point each, connect claims with clear transitions, and finish by summarising why you consider the trend negative.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “migration,” “medical attention,” “unemployment,” “income” and “innovation,” so the reader can generally recognise the subject of each point. However, the range is limited and several expressions are inaccurate or difficult to understand, such as “handsome earnings,” “income ways,” and “old fashioned and nit up do date.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “hosiptals,” “thier” and “established” where a different form is needed. These problems sometimes make the intended meaning unclear. Build a more accurate set of phrases for rural services and employment, and check spelling and collocations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
Most of the response uses short, simple statements or headings, so there is little evidence of a range of sentence structures. Attempts to form longer sentences are often inaccurate: “In these countries hosiptals and laboratory are available in cities in village they can't able to gain full medical attention” contains problems with sentence boundaries, articles, plurals and verb patterns. Other examples include “people not able to earns” and “Government of countries should takes,” where the verb forms do not agree with the subject or modal. Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent. Practise building complete sentences with a subject and correctly formed verb, then combine related ideas using clauses such as “because” or “which.”
