Student answer (Band 5.5)
The inhabitants in the rural areas are declining in the majority nations because they are migrating to the urban areas. From my perspective, this could be a beneficial enhancement because it increases the opportunities for the individuals to obtain a job and earn ample money for their households and the chidren would be capable to obtain better education in advanced educational institutions. However, some peaple believe that it could be an affective development for the poor community to live alone.
Firstly, I tend to think that migration for the rural residents to the cities is due to various opportunites there for them to get and make good adequate money for their family. It is beacuse, there is always a significant number of jobs available in urban areas. For instance, Islamabad has alot of industries which are doing advertisement for new workers to join. As a result, it minimize poverty.
Furthermore, this developement is advantageous for a students also to have better institutions for higher studies. Because, majority of high levels colleges and universities are placed in cities, and these institutions have latest technology for teaching to their learners. For istance, Air university in Islamabad use robots as a teacher to teach to their students, which results in better learning for a leaners.
However, some individuals believe that this development would be harmful for the poor people becuse, all wealthy residents would migrate to cities and they will be lefted there alone. Because of this issue, there will be no aid for them there. For instace, poor person go to the rich one and ask for a loan and he give him.
In conclusion, shifting to the urban areas minimize the population in the countryside. I believe it is a positive development for the individuals who want to have better job and salary. Cities have better shools for the pupils to learn and obtain better results. Some people argue that it could be a chellenging for the poor people to live alone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you consider rural-to-urban migration positive because it can improve employment, income and access to education. You address the opposing view that poorer residents may be left without support, so the response covers both sides of the question. The examples of Islamabad’s industries and Air University help make your points relevant, although the claim about robots teaching students is not explained and may seem unconvincing without clarification. The concern about poor people is also less fully developed than your benefits: explain why support would disappear and what consequences this would have. To strengthen the response, extend each main idea with a clear explanation and a more specific, credible example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs supporting your view, a paragraph presenting a counterargument, and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore,” “However,” and “In conclusion” make the overall progression easy to follow. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, particularly with repeated “Because” and “As a result,” and some links between claims are unclear. For example, the paragraph about poor residents moves from wealthy people leaving to a lack of aid, then to asking for a loan, without fully explaining the connection. Some sentences also begin with “Because” as fragments. Use a wider range of linking methods and make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “rural areas,” “urban areas,” “migration,” “institutions,” and “poverty.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “beneficial enhancement” and “significant number of jobs,” but some choices are unnatural or imprecise, which limits clarity. For instance, “affective development” does not express the intended negative effect, and “make good adequate money” is an awkward collocation. Spelling errors such as “opportunites,” “developement,” and “instace” are noticeable, while repeated use of “better” and “people” limits variety. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; precision is more valuable than using elaborate-sounding phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “However,” and the main message is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, especially in sentence construction and verb forms. For example, “the children would be capable to obtain” should use “capable of obtaining,” while “it minimize poverty” needs subject–verb agreement (“it minimizes poverty”). The sentence beginning “Because, majority of high levels colleges…” is incomplete and has problems with articles and plural forms; “Air university … use robots” also needs a singular verb. Review clause boundaries, agreement, articles and verb patterns, and punctuate dependent clauses so that complex sentences remain complete and clear.
