Student answer (Band 5.0)

nowadays, in many countries all over world the people of rural areas are moving to countryside that having impact on decreasing in countryside then in rural areas but, in my point of view that having negative on country also somewhere on rural areas because of in rural area the main thing is farming , milk production , log production.

although, if the rural areas were decreasing in number it effect for country because of 90 % of food comes from village area and having for agriculture in villages for farming for example farming weats , rice , corn, surge cane , vegetables. if the country or cites are allowing the rural people for other work such as working in factory, workshop and railways for coil.the best way to stop this things to pay fair to famers as there rice or vegetable. and also I will effect on milk production as we know that '' milk is important for our health and it increase taste in breakfast''. if the milk come from village its will fresh and pure there are profit for farmer only for sailing milk good price and buying food for cows or for family.

secondly, for last of thing that help for country to increase in population for making homes in rural as well as in countryside . however the home are build with the help of wood and log in rural areas there are plenty of tree that can cut for development in rural as well as country. therefore the benefit of rural area has for many thing and if the rural area people moving to cites it will decrease in population and having shortage of food , log

to conclute, for last all things is rural areas people are moving to cities that desblance the poupltion

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is that rural-to-city migration is negative, and you give relevant reasons: reduced food production, effects on milk supply, and fewer people remaining in rural areas. The examples of crops and farming help show what you mean. However, the response addresses the issue only partially because several claims are unclear or insufficiently explained. For instance, the statement that “90 % of food comes from village area” is not supported, and the point about cutting trees for development does not clearly explain how migration affects the country. The conclusion mentions population imbalance but does not bring your main reasons together. Develop two or three central points with clearer explanations and specific, credible examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is some organisation: you state your view, use “although” and “secondly” to introduce further points, and include a concluding paragraph. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because ideas within paragraphs shift or repeat without clear links. The first body paragraph moves from food production to factory work, then milk and farmers’ income; the relationship between these points is not always explained. The second paragraph introduces house-building and timber, but its connection to rural migration remains unclear. Some linking expressions, such as “for last of thing” and “therefore,” do not accurately signal the relationship between ideas. Use one main idea per paragraph, arrange supporting details in a clear order, and make references explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use topic-related vocabulary such as “farming,” “agriculture,” “milk production,” and “population,” which helps communicate the general subject. You also attempt more specific terms, including crop names and “workshop.” However, the vocabulary range is limited and many word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “log production,” “pay fair to famers,” “sailing milk,” and “desblance the poupltion.” Repetition of “rural areas,” “country,” and “cities” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate phrases for migration and its effects, and check spelling and word forms. Prefer familiar, correctly used vocabulary over ambitious expressions whose meaning is unclear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional forms such as “if the country or cites are allowing…” and a clause beginning “although.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation make the argument hard to follow. For example, “the people of rural areas are moving to countryside that having impact” lacks a clear grammatical connection, while “if the rural areas were decreasing in number it effect for country” has problems with the conditional structure and verb form. Articles and agreement are also inconsistent in phrases such as “the home are build.” Practise constructing accurate short sentences first, then join related ideas with correctly formed clauses and full stops.
