Student answer (Band 5.0)
This is fact In many countries around the world, rural people are moving to cities, so the population in the countryside is decreasing fastly.
this has positive and negitive both impact on development the main reason to move from rural areas to cities for better oppertunity and good education for new generation.
One is main reason behind this is that it has a significant impact for new generation and there lives they want to make there career and avail good oppertunties for future .
a good example of this would be my own experince to moving city side for better education and career because the area where i live is almost rural and there is no good quality education system.
Comparing past people's lifestyles have changed considerably also city side offer several advantages so this is the prefrence to moving toward the cities in addition city life have much better then rural.
On the other hand rural life also have some benefits and the important thing is they provide neumrous amount of dry fruits and pure things thats the hard to find in city areas so if the rural community shift to the cities who makes this pure things for people.
So in my opinion goverment should need to improve the system of every country specially for rural areas they get basic to advanced facilties also improved there transport system that will make to help them in any kind of emergency.
small steps can improve the both sides system and i will also improved the overall well being and life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both sides of the development and give a personal example of moving to a city for education and career opportunities. You also suggest improving rural services and transport, which is relevant. However, the response does not clearly answer whether the overall change is positive or negative: “this has positive and negative both impact” presents both sides, but your final view focuses mainly on government improvements rather than stating a firm judgement. The benefits and drawbacks are also under-developed; for example, the point about rural areas supplying “dry fruits and pure things” needs explanation or a specific example. The response is 240 words, so it is 10 words below the 250-word minimum; the 20 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop your position and supporting reasons more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some organisation: you introduce the trend, discuss reasons for moving, mention a personal example, consider a rural benefit, and end with a recommendation. However, the progression between these points is not consistently clear. The opening moves from the trend to “positive and negative” without establishing a clear line of argument, and the paragraph beginning “Comparing past people's lifestyles” is difficult to connect to the preceding example. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “So in my opinion” help signal shifts, but connections are sometimes mechanical or unclear, and several ideas are crowded into single paragraphs. Use distinct paragraphs for your position, each main reason, and the conclusion, and make each transition show how the next point supports your overall view.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “significant impact,” “career,” “opportunities,” “rural community,” and “transport system.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main subject, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “moving city side,” “city life have much better,” and “pure things,” which are vague or unnatural in this context. Spelling errors such as “oppertunity,” “negitive,” and “goverment” are also noticeable. Aim for precise topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully; for instance, explain what rural areas produce rather than referring generally to “pure things.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas using clauses and reasons, as in “because the area where I live is almost rural,” but sentence structures are often incomplete or faulty, and errors frequently make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “this has positive and negitive both impact” lacks accurate sentence structure, while “city life have much better then rural” has problems with agreement and comparison. There are also repeated errors in articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries, as in “the important thing is they provide” and the long final sentence beginning “small steps can improve.” Build accuracy first with clear subject–verb sentences, then add subordinate clauses. Check agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing each sentence.
