Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that rural-to-urban migration is positive, and your reasons—better access to education, healthcare and other services—are relevant to the question. Your personal example about moving for college helps make the point concrete. However, the response addresses the task only partially: the reasons are mostly asserted rather than explained in depth, and the conclusion repeats the general claim instead of weighing the effects or adding a developed final point. The response is also below the required 250 words: it contains 230 words, with 31 words copied from the prompt excluded from the count. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation and a specific consequence to make your position more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly group related points, and signposts such as “For instance,” “Another reasons” and “In conclusions” show an attempt to guide the reader. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from schools to shopping and then to a student returning home without explaining how these points connect. Some linking expressions are inaccurate or mechanical, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier ideas. Use a clearer topic sentence for each paragraph, then develop one main idea in a logical sequence; make sure each connector accurately expresses the relationship between sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “emergency,” “checkup,” “universities” and “opportunities,” so the reader can identify your main points. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “numerous,” “cities” and “reason.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “tecnology,” “prespective,” “postive,” “backward area” and “collage,” which sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Some combinations are unnatural, for example “low level of school and hospital” and “the way of thinking is totally change.” Build a more precise set of phrases for services and migration, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt a few longer structures, including “Unless a student go school in cities…” and “Consequently my parents decided to move on city…,” but these are not controlled accurately. Most sentences rely on simple patterns, and frequent errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction can make the reader pause. For example, “the public face numerous of problems when they go hospital” needs more accurate agreement and article use, while “the way of thinking is totally change” has an incorrect verb form. Punctuation is also inconsistent, especially where separate ideas are joined with commas. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add complex clauses with correct verb forms and clear punctuation.
