Student answer (Band 5.0)
Answer:In many countries around the world ,rural people are moving towards cities ,so the population towards countryside is decresing .According to my opinion, this may be negative because mostly people in villages are connected with agriculture and they spend most of their time in fields and also do so much hard work to produce good quality crops.
As we know that " Agriculture is backbone of a country ".If the people who are associated to this field will move towards the urban areas the country will face so much bumpy rides.
If these people wil start to live in urban areas, they will fce so much issues because in cities there are limited seats of job and also limited criteria of admissions and school so they will remain unemployed and their children will not be able to get admission in good institutions.
Hospitals will also be crowded with people and no better cure will be provided to serious patients.
There will be so much population and also the markets ,parks ,museums and other visiting places will be crowded.
If there is so much population so there are so many chances of terrorism and also traffic issues. This will create so much violence in society.
Due to increase in population there will be many sources of pollution.
when the urban population increase chances of unemplyment also increase to a great extent.
After this we all say that there is employment in our country.
To avoide from diiferent kind of such problems we should take measure steps to stop this migration from rural areas to urban areas.
Government should also pay heed towards the betterment of these areas which are underdeveloped so the people will not move towards cities to create distrubance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider rural-to-urban migration negative, mainly because it may weaken agriculture and put pressure on city services. You also address several consequences, including unemployment, crowded hospitals and pollution, so the response is relevant to the question. However, many points are listed rather than explained. For example, the claim that migration increases terrorism is not supported with a clear link or example, and the effects on rural communities receive little attention. The conclusion recommends government action but does not develop a specific measure. To strengthen the response, explain two or three central reasons in more depth and support them with a relevant example. The response meets the required length; 10 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response follows a broadly understandable order: it states a negative view, gives possible effects of migration, and ends with recommendations. Some linking phrases, such as “If these people” and “Due to increase in population,” help show relationships between ideas. However, the essay is presented as one continuous paragraph, so the main points are not clearly grouped. The repeated use of “so much” and repeated starts with “If” also make the progression feel list-like, while “After this we all say” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. Use separate paragraphs for the position, the main reasons, and the conclusion. Within each paragraph, connect claims to explanations and examples, and use referencing that makes clear which people or effects you mean.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “agriculture,” “unemployed,” “pollution,” “migration,” and “underdeveloped,” which helps communicate the general argument. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated or imprecise, such as “so much population” and “create disturbance.” Some word combinations are unnatural, including “bumpy rides” for the difficulties a country may face and “better cure” for medical treatment. Spelling errors such as “decresing,” “unemplyment,” and “avoide” are noticeable and reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise terms and natural collocations, and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe pressure on services as “overburdened,” rather than relying repeatedly on “crowded.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer conditional sentences, for example, “If these people will start to live in urban areas…” This shows an effort to express cause and effect, but the range is limited and complex structures are often faulty. In that example, use the present simple after “if” (“If these people start…”). Other errors include “the urban population increase” instead of “increases,” and “there are limited seats of job,” where the sentence structure and agreement are unclear. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent, particularly around commas and sentence openings. Practise accurate conditional forms, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries; then vary sentence patterns while keeping each sentence clear.
