Student answer (Band 5.5)
In modern days from all over the world people living in the village are trying to settle in cities, therefore due to this number of individuals are decreasing in that areas. Accordind to my openion this is a negative development. In this essay i will talk about it.
To begin with i would say, in these days there is numerous number of individuals who are unemployed, even in the fully developed cities in the world. This is because of migration of people from developing areas to developed areas. For instance, although developed areas are, in present, have a lot of opportunities for everyone but this is limited to a specific number of individuals. If the crowdness would increase from that level then there will not be availability of jobs for everyone living in that areas. Moreover, this will cause financial dis-stability. Overall, this would cause negative development.
On the other hand, migration from rural areas is also a considerable thing, because if there is no individual living in the village, the obligations of people living in these sites would not be accomplished. For example, formers who are playing a central role in the production of natural resources, these would be down, despite of it, it would also affect the modern cities because if the number of ( wheat, rice etc.) is decreased then from where these cities would fulfill their needs. Furthermore, whenever we opened pages of history, we came to know that in past everyone were living in the village areas there were no any modern area like these days. So, if the population would be down then we will completely loss our history thhings and people that were living in that areas.
To conlude that, this is totally negative developement, moving from village areas to cities areas. Even though nowadays people are struggling to find jobs to support their families, they should not move towards cities. But the government should do developmental things in the rural areas like ( build factories,) so that this movement of people would decrease.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you consider rural-to-urban migration negative, and you give relevant reasons, including competition for city jobs and the importance of rural workers to food production. The example of wheat and rice helps connect rural depopulation with city needs. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The claim that migration causes unemployment is asserted rather than explained, and the point about losing “our history things” is unclear and not convincingly linked to the main argument. The conclusion introduces government investment in rural factories, but this solution is not developed in the body. To strengthen the response, explain each main consequence with a specific cause-and-effect link and support it with a clear example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand” and “To conclude” help identify stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Overall, this would cause negative development” repeats the preceding point without adding a clear transition, while the paragraph about rural obligations, food production and history combines several ideas without showing how they connect. References such as “these areas” and “these sites” are also not always precise. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then use clear explanation and examples to develop it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “migration,” “unemployed,” “opportunities,” “production of natural resources” and “financial dis-stability.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “crowdness,” “formers” for people who farm, “obligations” for the work or roles carried out in villages, and “history thhings.” Spelling errors such as “Accordind,” “openion” and “developement” are noticeable. Aim to learn topic-specific collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; more precise choices would make your argument clearer and more natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “although,” “because” and “if.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles and verb forms frequently affect clarity. For example, “although developed areas are, in present, have a lot of opportunities” combines incompatible structures, while “there is numerous number” has an agreement problem. In “everyone were living,” the verb does not agree with the subject, and “if the population would be down” uses an unsuitable conditional form. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also need attention, particularly in the long sentence beginning “For example, formers…”. Practise building accurate clauses before adding more complexity.
