Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, in the search of opportunities individuals are migratinging from the rural area to urban cities around all over the world.Consequently, the number of people are declining in the countryside. From my perspective, i strongly assert that it is a positive enhancement.
To initiate this discussion, some individuals say that moving towards big cities are offering numerous opportunities which can enhance your educational skills. Moreover, if you are leaving in the backwards area of a nation, you will not get better facilities of education. The resources provided by the government are not enough to fullfil your educational dreams. For instance, I am living in kamoke city which is a rural area and there are not any option available for higher education. So, i went to lahore and leave my hometown for completing degree.
Additionally, supporting point is that you will get a various option to earn money which will assist you to become financially stable. There are many opportunities are available there through which you can start earning in your early age as compare to start struggling in the younger zone. For example, when i moved to hostel for university there I find a lot of options to support myself like you can do part time job in call centers along with your studies. Also, some of my friend working as an yango driver for the purpose of becoming financially stable.
One of the noteable drawbacks is that the population of a countryside is decreasing which can effect the country economy because most of the income comes from agricultural department.Due to migration, this sector will be effected badly.
To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that migrating from rural to urban areas will increase your quality of life.Altought there are some bad consequences of this but the profit margin here is more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I strongly assert that it is a positive enhancement”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You support this view with relevant reasons: access to higher education and more ways to earn money, including personal examples from Kamoke and Lahore. You also acknowledge a drawback—the possible harm to agriculture—which shows awareness of both sides. This addresses the task well, though the agricultural point is only briefly explained, and some claims about urban opportunities are broad rather than fully supported. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how migration affects agricultural production and why the benefits outweigh that cost, while developing each example in a little more detail.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two paragraphs supporting your view, a paragraph recognising a drawback, and a conclusion. Sequencing is generally easy to follow, and signposts such as “Moreover,” “Additionally,” and “To put it in a nutshell” help show the direction of the argument. However, some linking is mechanical or awkward, and the second supporting paragraph shifts between general claims and personal examples without a smooth connection. The phrase “supporting point” also does not clearly signal the relationship between ideas. Use cohesive devices more naturally, and make the topic sentence of each paragraph state its main point before explaining and illustrating it. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “you” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss education, employment, migration, and agriculture, including phrases such as “financially stable,” “higher education,” and “agricultural department.” There are also attempts at more formal expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “positive enhancement,” “backwards area,” “profit margin,” and “younger zone.” Spelling errors such as “noteable” and “Altought” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise, natural collocations rather than formal-sounding phrases, and check spelling carefully. For example, describe migration as a “positive development,” refer to “rural areas,” and explain that agriculture may be “adversely affected.” This would make your argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional forms (“if you are leaving…”) and a relative clause (“opportunities…through which you can start earning”). The main ideas are usually understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “the number of people are declining,” “moving towards big cities are offering,” and “I went to Lahore and leave my hometown.” Some sentences also contain faulty structures, such as “There are many opportunities are available there.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, particularly after full stops and commas. Work on subject–verb agreement and consistent tense, and revise complex sentences to ensure each has a clear grammatical structure.
