Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is huge debate about it that many countries around the world those people who are living in the rural area, they are rapidly shifting to urban areas for living a luxury life, because of this population is decreasing in the countryside frequently.
I personally believe there is a partially development, because countryside areas have less facilities for education, health, and many other things, so that is the main reason people shift rural areas to urban areas, other then that there is a negative aspect also raise here because due to this urban areas are much populated and increasing population day by day.
Rural people process food for people if they don't have much facilities to live normal life with basic resources then they are needed to shift in cities. Countryside people need good education system and heath system which is basic need for every human being.
For example, if they don't have good education system and hospitals, and in emergency case they run away towards city hospital which is far away from the countryside, there is a big loss for anyone because it is the important for human life. Therefore people are frequently shifted in urban areas due to there personal concerns about it.
My personal experience in it because my grandmother was lived in the village which is located in the countryside. she was always come for the shopping because in the countryside there is no shopping center or medical store. she was suffering for just buy some clothes after that my father insisted my grandmother to shift with us because she needs medical care at the age of seventy five.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant response and include a personal example about your grandmother, which helps illustrate the lack of medical and shopping services in rural areas. You also recognise a disadvantage of migration by noting that cities become more crowded. However, the position is not fully clear: “a partially development” does not tell the reader whether you consider the overall change positive or negative. Most of the discussion explains why people leave, rather than weighing the effects of a declining countryside against urban growth. Develop a clear overall judgement and extend both sides with specific consequences—for example, how migration affects rural services or food production, as well as pressure on city housing and infrastructure.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and the example about your grandmother follows the discussion of rural healthcare and shopping access. Linking expressions such as “For example” and “Therefore” also show an attempt to connect ideas. However, progression is uneven: the opening repeats the question, and the second paragraph introduces both a position and several reasons without clearly organising them. Some connections are difficult to follow, particularly “other then that there is a negative aspect also raise here.” Pronouns and references such as “because of this” and “it” are not always precise. Give each paragraph a clear purpose, use topic sentences, and connect each example explicitly to your overall judgement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “countryside,” “urban areas,” “education system,” “medical care,” and “emergency.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are inaccurate or unnatural, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. Examples include “living a luxury life,” “a partially development,” “process food for people,” and “there is a big loss for anyone.” There are also spelling or word-form problems, such as “heath system” and “other then.” Build a more precise set of collocations for migration and public services, and check whether each chosen phrase expresses the intended meaning naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to combine ideas using clauses with “because,” “if,” and “which,” and the reader can generally identify your main points. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences often contain several errors that make them difficult to process. For instance, “There is huge debate about it that many countries…” has an unclear clause structure, while “my grandmother was lived” uses an incorrect verb form. Other problems include missing articles and agreement in “there is no shopping center,” and inconsistent sentence boundaries, as in “she was always come… she was suffering.” Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine them with controlled subordinate clauses; also check tense, subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation.
