Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear overall view in the opening—“I think that it is positive development”—and give relevant reasons, including access to education, employment, and city facilities. However, the response only partially develops the question: it mainly explains why people move, rather than showing clearly why the resulting decline in rural population is positive. The claim that urban life is “well managed” is broad and not supported with a specific example, while the point about students moving abroad shifts away from rural-to-city migration. The conclusion also does not clearly weigh the effects or restate a developed argument. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits of this population shift directly and support each main reason with a concrete example or consequence.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an opening, a body, and a conclusion, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “Consequently” show an effort to connect ideas. However, progression is difficult to follow because several points are repeated or introduced without a clear relationship. For instance, education and employment appear in overlapping statements, while the move abroad is inserted into a discussion of city relocation. Some connectors do not express the intended relationship clearly, and the final paragraph introduces no focused summary. Organise the body around two distinct reasons, explain each in sequence, and use paragraphing to separate them. Make sure each linking phrase accurately signals whether you are adding, contrasting, or giving an example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “corporate sector,” “worklife balance,” “facilities,” and “urban area,” and the general subject is usually recognisable. However, limited control of word choice, collocation, and spelling sometimes makes meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “villagers are moving to urban,” “crowed take education,” “Nationside,” and “im-balance of cityzenry.” Several expressions are also imprecise, such as “ultra succes” and “many more think.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than using ambitious vocabulary whose meaning is unclear. Build a reliable set of terms for migration, rural communities, employment, and public services, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while,” and “so that.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation can make the argument hard to follow. For example, “the population in the Nationside is decline” has an incorrect verb form, and “many corporate sector are lied” has problems with agreement and sentence construction. The fragment “Which is good to urban area” is not a complete sentence, while “people are relocating in metro city” shows difficulty controlling the verb pattern and article use. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time and check each sentence for a complete main clause.
