Student answer (Band 5.5)
In rural areas, there is lack of many different facilitieis as compare to urban areas. People of rural areas can't get enough explore in their areas. Migration of rural peoples increase gradually with the time.
From my prespective, migration of rural area peoples to developed cities is good for their life beacuse they get to learn benefical things and enhance their skill levels according to the need of the world. Peoples from undeveloped areas learn modern way of life and also be able to live a good lifestyle and move forward from the poverty line which ultimately encourge them to achieve good things in their life. Medical issues which they face in their areas not happen in the cities. Eventually, This is good for their life and the next generation as well.
On the other hand, by the migration of peoples from countrysides to the cities also affect the population of the rural areas as well but also alarming for the cities to adjust such peoples in their areas. Migration if decrease the population of countryside, ultimately increase the cities population and its become challenge for the urban areas to adjust them in thier capacity of land and also provide the basic necessities of life as well.
In conclusion, yes rural areas humans get good opportunities for betterment of their life by moving to cities but this is one side of the page, when you flip to the other side of the page, you will see that its also rise the thinking center to how to mange external people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear overall view that rural-to-urban migration is positive for individuals, while recognising pressure on city services. The points about access to learning, skills, healthcare and escaping poverty are relevant, and the opposing point about cities needing to accommodate more people shows awareness of both sides. However, the position is not consistently expressed: the conclusion says migration is beneficial but then refers vaguely to a “thinking center” and managing “external people.” Several claims, such as medical problems not occurring in cities, are too broad and need qualification or an example. Develop fewer points in more detail, explain how they support your judgement, and make the conclusion state the overall balance clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting migration, a paragraph presenting a drawback, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within sentences and between ideas is sometimes unclear, particularly in “by the migration … also affect the population” and the final sentence about flipping to “the other side of the page.” Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “them” and “its” do not always make the intended meaning clear. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then connect each explanation directly to it with clear referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “migration,” “population,” “poverty line,” “basic necessities,” and “next generation.” These choices show some ability to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation problems make parts difficult to interpret: “facilitieis,” “prespective,” “encourge,” and “thinking center” are examples. Phrases such as “get enough explore” and “good things” are also imprecise for an academic essay. Build a bank of accurate expressions for rural services, employment, and urban infrastructure, and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a sentence beginning “People … learn modern way of life” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, and sentence construction can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Migration … also affect” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “Migration if decrease the population” does not form a clear grammatical clause. The opening phrase “there is lack” also needs an article. Practise building accurate subject–verb patterns and joining clauses with clear conjunctions; then proofread each sentence for agreement and complete structure.
