Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task: suggesting help, explaining your motivation, and clarifying your availability. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention 'housekeeping' and 'preparing meals', expanding slightly on your experience or specific skills would have made the letter more persuasive. The purpose of the letter is clear, and the reader is left with a good understanding of your situation and intentions. To improve, ensure that each bullet point is developed with a bit more detail to fully satisfy the requirements of a Band 7 or higher.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, with each paragraph focusing on one of the required points. This makes the letter easy to follow. You use some basic cohesive devices such as 'Also' and 'However', but the flow between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is clear. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more fluidly, and ensure that the referencing (e.g., 'this work') is always precise to avoid any ambiguity.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to complete the task, such as 'hospitality', 'profession', and 'availability'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'naghbourhood' (neighborhood), 'advertisment' (advertisement), 'chiose' (chores), 'pereparing' (preparing), 'hospatility' (hospitality), and 'responce' (response). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. While the meaning remains clear, the high frequency of spelling mistakes limits your score in this criterion. Focusing on proofreading your work for common spelling errors will significantly improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'As I have a qualification in hospitality, this work is related to my profession'. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including missing articles ('a residence of your neighbourhood'), incorrect verb forms ('I am a student in the university have a summer holidays'), and punctuation issues. Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'I could help you in your home by doing and basic chiose'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently and indicate a need for more careful attention to basic grammar rules.
