Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly outlined how you could help (cooking, cleaning, gardening, errands), explained your motivation (passion for community service), and provided your availability. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a neighbor. To reach a higher band, ensure that your explanation of availability is more precise; while you listed your commitments, it is slightly unclear when you are actually free to work. Overall, the response is well-developed and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter follows a logical structure, moving from the purpose of the letter to your background, your skills, and finally your availability. Paragraphing is used, though it could be more distinct to separate the different points. You use some cohesive devices like 'Therefore' and 'Moreover', which help the flow. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the connection between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between your studies and your desire to help could be more fluid. Overall, the information is easy to follow and the progression is logical.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, using terms like 'passionate', 'contribute', and 'occasional'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'across you home' (should be 'across from your home') and 'Canadian tier store' (likely referring to Canadian Tire). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precision. To improve, try to incorporate more varied and precise vocabulary related to household tasks and professional communication to demonstrate a wider range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'interest about the advertisement you post' (should be 'interest in the advertisement you posted') and 'if need any additional information' (missing subject 'you'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and sentence boundaries. While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage, especially when discussing your schedule and future availability.
