Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Mrs Barrett,

How are you? Hope this letter finds you well. I saw your advertisement in local newspaper that you are looking for someone to help you in your home for a few hours a day during next summer.

I think I am a suitable candidate who you are looking for. I can help you with household chores like cleaning, watering the plants, taking care of pet, children and elders, and doing groceries. Further, I can help you in serving your guests, if you have any celebrations.

I have my summer break and I was looking for some part-time work during summer. Moreover, your place is near to my house so it saves my commuting time. I want to earn extra income so that I can afford to pay my tuition fees.

I am available any time in the morning from 9.00 A.M. to 4 P.M. but not later than this time because my parents does not allowed me to work late night.

I look forward to hearing from you for further discussion. I would really appreciate if you consider my application.
