Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I am writing to express my interest to perform house hold task for couple of hours next summer.

I can perform various tasks during house help. I am capable to perform deep cleaning of bathroom and kitchen. Apart from that ,I have been working as chef for 5 months, so I can cook lunch for you.

I am a college student, and I am looking for part time job during my summer vacation. This opportunity will not only offers me more time for other activities but also helps me to gain some essential organizational skills.

I am available from Monday to Thursday, from 10 am to 2pm. Moreover, you can contact me in case of help needed in evenings, if required. Unfortunately , during weekends I am unavailable due to my other job.
