Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs. Barrett,

I have seen your advertisement of seeking for a helper. I am writing to express my interest to assist you for all tasks in your home.

I am experienced with several household duties as I do them occasionally at my own house when I have a spare time. I can help you to organize all stuff in bedrooms and hall. Furthermore, I can operate grass cutting machine, so I can do that task very efficiently. Apart from that, I can also wash all your utensils and clothes with care.

Interestingly, I would like to do this work because I will be on vacation next summer. So, it would be a great opportunity to join someone and learn how to clean and arrange things at home.

I will be only available on weekdays during summer and can not work on weekends. On every weekend, I would like to spend quality time with my family, so we plan many things such as to go on outing, and for camping etc.
