Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I writing this letter in the response of advertised that you are looking for a person who can help you in domestic work for few hours a day next summer. I want to help you because i will be free during summer break.

There are few reasons for doing this job. Firstly, i want to invest my time on that job where i can learn something as you are English speaker, it would be great chance for me enhance my English speaking skills and easy for you to communicate with me as not many people educator are here. Secondly, i really need a job to my college fees. Lastly, i know all the household chores and it would not be difficult job for me.

I am available for whole summer break, but i can do work only 8 am to 1 pm and 4pm to 8 pm. My main focus is my study and health therefore i need to devote some hours to my study, rest and my household work.

I hope you will understand my passion to learn English and need for money.
