Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: suggesting help, explaining your motivation, and detailing your availability. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a resident in your town. However, there is a significant logical error regarding your availability: you state you are available after 11:00 pm. Given that this is a request for help in a home during the day, this timing is highly impractical and suggests a misunderstanding of the context. While the ideas are relevant, the development of the 'availability' section is undermined by this unrealistic detail, which prevents the response from being fully effective.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific requirement of the task. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Also' and 'In addition' (implied), to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing, such as 'I am ready and available to be help you'. The transition between the offer of help and the availability section is functional, but the overall structure could be improved with more sophisticated linking words to create a smoother, more professional tone throughout the letter.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including some idiomatic expressions like 'in the pink of health' and 'stress buster'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'to a extent' instead of 'to an extent' and 'I would like to these household work'. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful attention to collocations and grammatical agreement. Expanding your range of formal vocabulary would help elevate the response to a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. Examples include 'I am writing this letter regarding the advertisement you posted for the help you needed', 'This summer dont have any plans', and 'If adjustment need i am open to that'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are inconsistent. While the meaning remains clear, the frequency of these errors is noticeable. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and correct verb tense.
