Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: suggesting how you can help, explaining your motivation, and clarifying your availability. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a new acquaintance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, your explanation of why you want to help is a bit disjointed, and the connection between your desire to help and your mention of her charitable work could be more clearly articulated to show a stronger sense of purpose. Overall, the response is relevant and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Although' and 'If', which help the flow of ideas. However, the transition between the offer of help and the reason for wanting to do the work is slightly abrupt. Paragraphing is present, but the structure could be improved by ensuring each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed point. Some referencing is a bit mechanical, but the overall progression of the letter is easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'keen interest', 'explored', and 'awareness'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'home arrangement' (instead of 'household assistance') and 'helping women of the city' (which sounds unnatural). The phrase 'priorly' is also non-standard; 'in advance' would be more appropriate. While you attempt to use some less common vocabulary, these occasional inaccuracies slightly limit the precision of your expression.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'As your quite new' (should be 'you are') and 'donates funds' (should be 'who donates'). Additionally, 'Looking forward for your response' should be 'Looking forward to your response'. While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede communication. To reach a higher band, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions and articles, as these are currently causing minor inaccuracies throughout the text.
