Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing this letter to inform you that I am keenly interested in advertising that I am willing to help you at your home.

I am also a good English speaker and a student studying at Crandall University. I am currently at home on summer vacation and looking for a full-time job. I have enough experience in housekeeping; therefore, I can help you with household chores as well as other work at home. If you have pupils, I love to talk and play with them. I can assist you with babysitting.

I am eagerly looking for work because I am living independently and need money to pay my bills and tuition fees. However, in the city, having a high level of competition, and very difficult to get a job.

I am available on weekdays with full-time availability, not including weekends, because I usually relax and go out with my friends to enjoy myself.

Hereby, I am attaching my resume and cover letter. Looking forward to your response.
