Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Mrs Barrett,

I hope you are doing well. I heard about your advertisement for someone to help you with your house chores.

I am George, living in the same town as yours and I am available to help for any house works. I can do almost every work from shopping to cleaning and even cook delicious meals. Moreover, I can take care of your kids if you have them, and help in their studies.

I am currently looking for employment opportunities to support me financially for paying my college fee. Also, I have experience for doing house chores as I used to help my mother back in school days. So, I believe I can definitely help in your works.

My availability is every week day after 3 PM to 7 PM, and whole day for weekends. I cannot work before 3 PM because of college classes. Let me know when can I start the work.
