Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer.

Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter

• suggest how you could help her in her home
• say why you would like to do this work
• explain when you will and will not be available

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mrs Barrett,

Dear Barrett,

I hope you are doing well. I recently came across your advertisement that you need help in your home for a few hours a day next summer.I wanted to inform you that I might help you in this regard.

I have been serving in different people's houses over the past few years and all of them are extremely satisfied with me.

I have great experience in managing different household tasks like watching dishes,making food and looking after children. I believe that looking after your house for a few hours a day will not be a bothersome task for me.Since I am not working anywhere else these days,I can easily work in your house.

Since I am currently pursuing my masters degree so I have to attend classes till noon so I am not free during this time.But I will be available after that till night.I hope that will not be an issue for you.

I hope you will consider my request.Looking forward to hearing a positive response from you.
