I am really interested to help you in this regards and wants to support you as a home care worker. I can help you in personal care, household chores, preparing meals as well as to look after you the whole day.
Currently, I am pursuing home care worker course from a University and I need to acquire some practical skills in order to successfully complete the course. That is why I am interested in this role to gain some experience. In addition to that, I am looking to earn money to pay my tution fees.
I am available full day on weekends and rest of the days, I am available after 2 pm because of my studies. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You clearly explained how you could help (personal care, chores, meals), why you want the job (course requirements and financial needs), and your availability. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a prospective employer. The ideas are relevant and well-developed, ensuring the reader understands your situation and your suitability for the role. To reach a higher band, you could provide slightly more detail regarding your specific skills or previous experience to make your application more persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. Each paragraph focuses on a distinct aspect of the prompt, which helps the reader follow your points easily. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition to that' and 'That is why' to link your ideas. However, the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that transitions between sentences are smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate for a letter format.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. You use topic-specific terms like 'household chores', 'personal care', and 'practical skills'. However, there are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'pursuing home care worker course' (should be 'a home care worker course') and 'in this regards' (should be 'in this regard'). To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring articles are used correctly with professional titles.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is always clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as 'I read in local newspaper' (missing article 'a'), 'wants to support' (subject-verb agreement error, should be 'want'), and 'tution' (spelling error). Additionally, 'preparing meals as well as to look after you' lacks parallel structure; it should be 'preparing meals as well as looking after you'. Increasing your control over these basic grammatical rules will help you achieve a higher score.
